Pastor Thren and Family
In August of 2009 Pastor Mark preached at our church for the first time. He along with his wife and family made a wonderful impression on us. In January of 2010 we called on Brother Thren to become our pastor. Pastor Thren has a great burden for the work of the Lord. Before coming to us he graduated from the DeLand School of the BIBLE in DeLand, FL. Having a desire to make an impact on people for the cause of Christ, Brother Thren began searching for where God would have him serve. After having taken missions trips to both the Philippines and Sierra Leone, God directed this man and his family to us. We feel privileged that God has given us a man who loves God, and has a vision for our town. We love his dynamic preaching style, and he feeds us regularly from the Word of God.
